Joining Phi Kappa Phi
The governing bylaws of the Society are very selective. Invitations to join must be accepted before the deadline listed in your letter of invitation. Membership in the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is earned and admission is by invitation only.
Letter of Invitation to Join
A letter of invitation to join is sent only to students who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Currently enrolled
- Undergraduates who have completed at least 24 semester hours
- Juniors who rank academically in the top 7.5 percent of their class after completing at least 72 credit hours with at least 24 semester hours completed at UNC Charlotte
- Seniors who rank academically in the top 10 percent of their class after completing at least 24 semester hours
- Graduate students who rank academically in the top 10 percent of their class after completing at least 18 graduate hours

If you received a letter of invitation to join Phi Kappa Phi, follow the instructions listed which instruct you where to go to join and what steps to take in order to become a member.
Deadline to Join
If you received a letter of invitation to join Phi Kappa Phi, please review the letter and note that there is a deadline by which to join. Be sure to complete the membership process before the deadline date listed in your letter of invitation for consideration.
